The Gladiator unit was developed by Basketball England as part of the Lottery supported Outdoor Basketball Initiative. It is regarded the strongest outdoor unit available, designed to survive in an inner city environment.
- Heavy duty, zinc finished in ground unit.
- Steel Backboard 47" x 35" (120 x 90cm).
- 18" (45cm) Solid galvanised steel ring and net.
- 10cm galvanised post with 5mm thickness.
- Withstands load bearing of 490kg.
- 48" (1.2m) extension.
- 7 Year anti rust warranty.
- 2 person installation required, not supplied.
- Installation instructions provided, unit requires 39" (1m) cube hole.
- Weight 160kg.
- Ground sleeve sold separately.
