Ideas to get you crafting

Let the children get creative this Halloween and use their imagination with this craft activity. Using our flowerpots, make your own spooky Halloween friends. Whether it be a pumpkin, bat, spider, ghost or whatever you decide to make, you can start from scratch and get creative using our wide range of art & craft resources. Start by turning the flowerpots upside down and painting them to suit whichever spooky character you wish to make, and then add wiggly eyes, tissue paper, pinecones, and other loose parts.

A rangoli is a traditional, colourful pattern often placed near the entrance of houses to welcome guests. At Diwali, Hindus often create Rangoli to welcome goddess Lakshmi into their homes. In this activity, we’ve used coloured sand to create beautiful Rangoli patterns.

By using our craft rolls, or even toilet roll inners you can help children create their own bonfire! Simply paint or colour your rolls in brown colours to create a log effect, then use bright orange, red and yellow crepe paper to create your flames and glue in place. Why not use a paper plate as a base, to help children take their masterpieces home?
